For those of you who are not, Crusaders are a stealthy assassin type class because of their stuns, mobility, high attack speed and high damage output. Crusaders are one of the most popular classes in the Tales of Pirates/Pirate King Online world, Official or Private Server.
I have been playing Tales of Pirates for about 7 years now and have ALWAYS played the Crusader class so when tit comes to Crusaders I know a decent amount; any other class and I'm on the same level as a 1st time ToP/PKO player.
I am currently known on Eternal Pirates Online as Riku. I am the Guild Leader of Legacy and I have been playing EPO for about 4-5 months now.
I have reached Level 150, Full VIP and have almost maxed out everything I possibly can on my character.
2: Stat Allocation
As a crusader, the most important stats (as far as this server is concerned) are Str, Con, and Agi. Acc can play a small role as well however it is not necessary at all.
Str will increase your melee damage as well as amplify your Illusion Slash skill.
Con will increase your Health and Defense allowing you to take less damage and more hits.
Agi will increase your Attack Speed and Dodge, key factors to a Crusader, Agi will stop increasing your Attack Speed at a certain point however im not sure the exact number in which this happens.
Acc will increase your Hit Rate, the least important stat of the four.
At level 150, you should have 304 stat points to allocate into the desired stats. Each stat is capped at 130 points resulting in 135 points total with your base 5 points in each stat.
There are several different builds however there is one which provides the most sustain and is the easiest to play.
=========Str - Con Crusader =========
This build focuses on Str and Con because your goal is to dish out as much damage as possible while being able to tank as many hits as possible, simple enough.
Str - 130
Con - 130
After maxing these two stats, there will be 44 Stat points remaining.
You may allocate them into either Agi for Dodge or Acc for Hit Rate.
Allocating the points into Agi will result in these stats:
Allocating the points into Acc will result in these stats:
Now, how do you choose which stat to allocate the remaining points into? Easy.
VIP Users:
The stat you choose will be based on what gems you are using in your glove; if you are using Rage Master Gems then I recommend allocating the remaining points into Acc. If you are using Lustrious, Lock's Hit and Azrael's Aggregation then I recommend allocating the remaining points into Agi.
Reasons:
Acc - The reason you make this choice is because if you are using Rage Master gems, your Hit Rate will likely be around 1250 or so. This is around the Dodge of most moderately gemmed VIP Crusaders and so there is a high chance that you will be missing a lot against those Crusaders. Allocate the remaining points into Acc to give yourself a little more Hit Rate so that you can break the passive Dodge of these VIP Crusaders.
Agi - The reason you make this choice is because if you are using Lustrious, Lock's Hit and Azrael's Aggregation, you will likely have around 1300 Hit Rate. This is enough to break the passive Dodge of most VIP Crusaders. Since you'll be able to break them, there is no need to waste points for the few Hit Rate points you'll get for the 44 Stat points. Instead allocate the points into Agi so that your passive dodge can dodge the Crusaders who are lacking in Hit Rate.
Rage/Kylin Users:
Since Rage users don't get the same bonus VIP users do, its more efficient to allocate your remaining stat points into Acc.
Reasons:
Acc - The reason you make this choice is because since you do not get the dodge bonus like VIP users do, your dodge will be lack luster. You will probably have around 900-1k dodge, maybe 1.1k at the most but its not nearly enough to dodge the 1200+ Hit Rate that most Crusaders will have so putting points
3: Skill Allocation
Each class has its own set of unique skills, Crusaders are known for their Stealth (Sadly in this server SharpShooters can Stealth also) and that is probably one of the best skills in the game especially when combined with the other skills Crusaders have.
